this physician demurs,
as expanded family of 15 gathers
to fête Ger tomorrow 
on their 80th birthday, rather feels
more like one good day,
magical miracle of molecular 
biology with all of our 
equal & positive forces creating 
very strong atom bond,
that we’ll celebrate collectively 
for its current glories,
of course with no guarantee
survives into future,
but seeming appetite, put in 
work, try to maintain.
